Hypospadias repair surgery corrects the abnormal placement of the urinary opening (urethra) on the underside of the penis. This procedure can improve both urinary function and the appearance of the penis.
A birth defect affecting males where the urethral opening (where urine exits) is located on the underside of the penis instead of the tip. Treatment typically involves surgery in infancy or childhood to create a normal urinary opening.
